3-11. PNVS TURRET ASSEMBLY REMOVAL (cont)
4. Move TADS turret assembly to approximately
90° (para 3-4).
5. Disconnect PNVS turret assembly connector
P1 (10).
CAUTION
Alternately turn each screwlock, 1 to 2 turns.To
do otherwise will bend connector contacts.
NOTE
When removing turret connector P1 (10), if
accessing screwlock (9) is difficult, perform
steps b thru e.
a. Loosen two screwlocks (8 and 9) and
disconnect PNVS turret assembly
connector P1 (10) from interface cable W1
connector J3 (11).
b. Remove nut (12), lockwasher (13), and flat
washer (14), from interface cable W1
connector J3 (11).
c. Loosen screwlock (8).
d. Disconnect PNVS turret assembly
connector P1 (10) from interface cable W1
connector J3 (11).
e. Remove screwlock post (15) from
screwlock (9) and retain with lockwasher
(13), flat washer (14), and nut (12) for
installing or reinstalling PNVS.
f. Install dust cap on W10P1 cable connector
(10) prior to removal.
