3-12. PNVS TURRET ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION (cont)
CAUTION
• Do not let guide pins drop into gear cutouts.
If this happens, captive mounting screws will
be damaged.
• Do not let small guide pin go into slot first. If
this happens, large guide pin will not go all
the way into hole and pin can be damaged or
pushed up into base. A pushed up pin can
damage internal wiring.
9. Engage large and small guide pins (10 and 11)
with alinement hole (12) and slot (13)
respectively.
a. Continue to lower PNVS turret assembly (2)
until large guide pin (10) goes all the way
into hole (12) and small guide pin (11) goes
into slot (13).
b. If needed, slowly move PNVS turret
assembly (2) around until pin (10) goes into
hole (12). Do not let guide pins drop into
gear cutouts (17). After pin (10) goes into
hole (12), move PNVS turret assembly (2)
again until pin (11) goes into slot (13).
