CAUTION
Be sure cable is pulled as far as possible
through hole and is not pinched between
turret assembly and azimuth drive gimbal
assembly.
8. Feed rubber seal (7) and cable (3) through
holes (16 and 17).
a. Lower PNVS turret assembly (2) to within 3
inches of aircraft interface assembly (14).
Tilt PNVS turret assembly sideways.
b. Support tilted PNVS turret assembly (2).
One person feeds connector end of cable
(3) through hole (15) in top center of
azimuth drive gimbal assembly (1).
c. Start lowering PNVS turret assembly (2).
One person continues feeding rubber seal
(7) and connector end of cable (3) through
hole (16) in aircraft interface assembly (14).
