Install PNVS turret assembly (para 3-12)
Perform MOC (TM 1-5855-265-T)
CAUTION
Careless handling may damage wiring. Use
care when removing rubber seal.
1. To remove rubber seal, stretch seal (1) over
cable (2), ground strap (3), and connector (4).
CAUTION
Overstretching may cause seal to tear. Use
care when stretching rubber seal
NOTE
The replacement rubber seal can be a bonded
three-piece, a single-piece, or a split single-
piece seal. Refer to TM 1-5855-265-23P.
2. Replace rubber seal (1).
a. If replacement rubber seal (1) is a bonded
three-piece or single-piece seal, stretch
seal and slide over connector P1 (3) and
ground strap (14).
b. If replacement rubber seal (1) is a split
single-piece, carefully open seal and place
on cable (2) in front of connector P1 (4),
and ground strap (3).
3. Perform followup.
