3-20. AZIMUTH DRIVE GIMBAL ASSEMBLY A2 REPLACEMENT (cont)
15. Install azimuth drive gimbal assembly A2
attaching hardware (1, 2, and 5).
a. Install eight high-torque recess flat head
screws (1).Torque screws to 32 in-lb.
NOTE
If mounting hole for high-torque recess pan
head screw (2) is covered by gear (3), do
steps b and c; otherwise, do step c.
b. Actuate brake control switch (4) and move
gear until mounting hole for screw (2) is
visible.
c. Install three high-torque recess pan head
screws (2 and 5) and washers (6). Torque
screws to 32 in-lb.
16. Have azimuth drive gimbal assembly
installation inspected.
17. Place protective covering over cavity.
18. Perform followup.
