PNVS turret assembly removed
FOLLOWUP
Install PNVS turret assembly (para 3-12)
REMOVAL
1. Remove protective covering placed over cavity
after PNVS turret assembly was removed.
Retain covering.
2. Remove azimuth drive gimbal assembly A2
attaching hardware (1, 2, and 5).
a. Remove eight high-torque recess flat head
screws (1).
NOTE
If high-torque recess pan head screw (2) is
covered by gear (3), do steps b and c;
otherwise, do step c.
b. Actuate brake control switch (4) and move
gear (3) clear of screw (2). Release switch.
c. Remove three high-torque recess pan head
screws (2 and 5) and washers (6).
