3-17. PNVS WINDOW COVER ASSEMBLY REPAIR (cont)
g. Wrap insulation tape (5) two to four turns
around end of shock cord loop. Allow 0.10
inch outside of taped end.
h. Cut two length of stainless wire to 1 ± 0.12
inch for clamps (6).
i. Bend clamps around center of tape, 0.25 to
0.50 inch apart and crimp.
j. Slide insulation sleeving (3) from middle of
shock cord over taped and crimped area
and heat shrink.
k. Repeat installation on other side.
l. Perform followup.
