3-4. MOVING TADS TURRET ASSEMBLY MANUALLY (cont)
CAUTION
Improper tightening of two captive screws can
damage equipment. Do not overtighten captive
screws.
10. Close leftside fairing assembly (2) and tighten
two captive screws (1).
NOTE
If brake release power supply assembly is not
connected, go to step 12 below.
11. Disconnect brake release power supply
assembly (7).
a. Set POWER switch (10) to OFF.
b. Disconnect cable (11) from brake release
power supply assembly (7) and AIA
connectors.
c. Stow cable (11) inside cover (12) of brake
release power supply assembly (7).
d. Close and latch cover (12).
e. Connect helicopter cable connectors to AIA
connectors as follows:
Helicopter AIA
P835 (13) to J1 (14)
P843 (15) to J4 (16)
f. Install access panels L40 and R40 (TM 1-
1520-238-23).
g. Go to step 13 below.
12. Open MAINT LT circuit breaker (TM 1-1520-
238-23).
13. Proceed with maintenance task.
