Install PNVS window cover assembly (para
3-9)
1. Remove foreign matter from visible areas (top,
back, and sides) of PNVS turret assembly (1)
and from space between PNVS turret
assembly and aircraft interface assembly (2).
2. Wash visible painted surfaces of PNVS turret
assembly (1) and surrounding aircraft interface
assembly (2). Use fresh clean water and clean
wiping cloth.
NOTE
If surfaces are clean after you washed them
with plain water, omit steps 3 and 4 below.
3. Repeat step 2 above using a detergent/water
solution instead of plain water. Mix 1 ounce of
detergent in 1 gallon of clean water in a pail to
make the solution.
4. Rinse all washed surfaces with fresh clean
water.
