3-13. PNVS ELECTRONIC CONTROL AMPLIFIER (PECA) REPLACEMENT (cont)
6. Disconnect bonding strap (6).
a. Using last three fingers of your left hand,
hold side of PECA (1).
b. Grasp bonding strap on each side of quick-
disconnect connector (13).
c. Pull and separate connector halves. Be
sure quick disconnect coupler stays with
bonding strap half on PECA.
7. Remove PECA (1) from helicopter. Place
PECA on clean surface for temporary storage.
INSTALLATION
8. Place PECA (1) near bonding strap (6) as
shown.
9. Connect bonding strap (6).
a. Hold side of PECA (1).
b. Line up keyed connector halves of bonding
strap quick disconnect connector (13).
c. Engage the two halves and push until they
snap together.
