3. Remove PECA (1) from mounting bracket (4).
a. Swing bottom end of PECA (1) about 150
from mounting bracket (4).
b. Unhook top end of PECA (1) from bracket
(4).
c. Move PECA (1) down until it clears
horizontal member (5).
d. Move PECA (1) toward you as far as
bonding strap (6) will allow.
NOTE
• Aircraft interface assemblies may have an
alternate W1 harness installed. Part of the
alternate W1 harness covers one of the
screwlocks securing WlP1 connector to
torquer amplifier connector J1. Access to the
covered screwlock is provided by slits in both
molded ribbon cables attached to W1P1.
• If alternate W1 is installed, perform step 4
below.
4. Spread slit (7) in both molded ribbon cables (8)
to access screwlock (9) on connector W1P1
(10).
CAUTION
Alternately turn each screwlock one to two
turns. To do otherwise will bend connector
contacts.
5. Disconnect connector W1P1 (10) from
connector J1 (11) by loosening two screwlocks
(12 and 9).
