RUBBER SEAL
NOTE
Rubber seal is made of sponge rubber. The seal is compressed by
the access cover and forms an air and moisture seal around turret
assembly harness assembly where harness assembly exits the
aircraft interface assembly.
When access cover is removed, about 3/8 inch of the seal is
visible. Do not push seal through hole in interface assembly. The
seal can not be pulled back through the hole without removing the
turret assembly (para 3-11) and reinstalling it (para 3-12).
