Check helicopter cables that connect to PEU for chaffed or broken
wires and loose, bent, burned, or broken pins or sockets. If damage
is seen, repair cables (TM 55-1500-323-25).

PNVS ELECTRONIC CONTROL AMPLIFIER (PECA)

Move TADS turret assembly out of stow (para 3-4) to 90°.
6.2

Check external painted surfaces of PECA for scratched, chipped, or
peeled paint. Touch up paint as required (para 2-9).
6.3

Check PECA decal for peeling edges. Check decal and stencil for
extensive wear, pitting, legibility, etc. If damage is seen, replace
decal and stencil (para 2-8).
