CAUTION
Use care when vacuuming fans and ventilated CCA housings.
Do not allow brush or hose to touch exposed optics and steel
bands of elevation mirror assembly. The steel bands and the
coating on the optics can be damaged.

Check main fan, MUX power supply fan, and two ventilated CCA
housings for a buildup of dust. If dust is present, lightly vacuum
clean fan housing and blades of each fan and the two ventilated
CCA housings. Install PNVS shroud assembly (para 3-16).

Perform power-up procedure and use IHADSS to check PNVS
image in accordance with malfunction symptom index FLIR
FAILURE SYMPTOMS (TM 1-5855-265-T). Perform power-down
procedure.
