Have PNVS optics (elevation mirror and afocal lenses) inspected for
contamination. If directed, clean optics (para 3-8).

Check PNVS optics for cracks. None allowed. Pitting, nicks,
scratches, and peeling of coating is allowed if the functionality of
PNVS optics is not impacted.

Check wiring harness for chafed or broken wires and loose or
corroded connections. Check for loose connectors. Tighten loose
connectors. If other discrepancies are noted, install PNVS shroud
assembly (para 3-16) and replace turret assembly (para 3-11 and
3-12).

Check for loose, stripped, or missing mounting hardware. If
discrepancies are noted, install PNVS shroud assembly (para 3-16)
and replace turret assembly (para 3-11 and 3-12).
