BEFORE TAXIING (CONT)
Verify airflow is present from aft cockpit
eyeball outlets to insure sufficient cooling
for mission equipment.
NOTE
For maximum cooling on the ground, turn
the bleed air valve switches to ENVIRO
OFF position.
*3. AC/DC power - Check for:
a. AC frequency - 394 to 406 Hz.
b. AC voltage - 104 to 124 VAC.
c. DC load - Check.
d. DC voltage - 27.0 to 28.5
VDC.
Do not operate the weather radar set while
personnel or combustible materials are with-
in 18 feet of the antenna reflector. When the
weather radar set is operating, high-power
radio frequency energy is emitted from the
antenna reflector. which can have harmful
effects on the human body and can ignite
combustible materials.
