LOW SPEED SYSTEMS CHECK (CONT)
e.
Trim aircraft to trim speed as shown in figure 3.
f.
Airspeed - Reduce by one knot/second until aircraft stalls.
*g. Airspeed (at warning and at stall) - Record (KIAS).
h.
Roll must be controllable with-in 15 degrees left or right.
*5. Flap operation - Check as follows:
C32,33
a.
Airspeed - Reduce to 202 KIAS or below.
b.
Flaps - APPROACH. Check flaps for freedom and smoothness of operation and for excessive aircraft
roll.
c.
Airspeed - Reduce to 157 KIAS or below.
d.
Flaps - 100%. Check flaps for freedom and smoothness of operation and for excessive air- craft roll.
e.
Flap extension and retraction time - Check as follows:
(1) Airspeed - 157 KIAS or below.
(2) Flaps - UP.
*(3) Flap retraction time - Check and record. Flaps should retract from full down to full up in a
maximum of 9 seconds.
