Remove the protective cap and plug from the quick-release valve,
inlet hose nipple, and sample valve (Figure 2.8).

Insert the sampler hose nipple into the quick-release valve collar
(Figure 2.9): retract the valve collar and insert the nipple firmly into the
valve. Release the collar when the nipple is seated.
