6. Offset Mount Installation
a. Attach clamp to visor housing (40) by
remounting attachment screw (41). Do
NOT tighten it down yet.
b. Insert power pack mount connector
(42) into clamp (43).
c. Tighten down clamp.
NOTE
The visor (44) cannot be used when the
offset mount is installed.
7. Fastener Tape, Pile Attachment
a. For both AN/AVS-6(V)1 and (V)2, install
fastener tape pile (45).
NOTE
Make sure that back of helmet is clean.
See Task No. 4-29.
b. Remove backing from fastener tape,
pile.
c. Center and attach to back of helmet
(46).
