Don the helmet.
k If the M45 mask is NOT worn, and you have NOT performed steps h
through i, grasp th CEP connector end wit the right hand. Push the connector end onto the
connector on the right rear of the helmet. (See Figure 13.)
Ensure that the volume level of the audio sent to the CEP is reduced.
Damage to the wearer's ears may result if the volume level is not reduced.
I Plug the communications cord into the intercommunications unit and check
for proper operation of the CEP and the receivers.
