(b) Remove the self-adhesive hook fastening strips from the package and cut them

(c) Trim the corners of the hook adhesive.  Attach the adhesive side of the EAL as

When  the  hook  and  loop  is  attached  to  the  helmet  liner,  it  might  be  necessary  to

(e) Front tape should not be in center, place tapes left and right of center.  (See Figure 5-3). 
 
 
 
(f)  Remove the zetaliner from the package. 
 
 
 
(g) Using Figure 5-4, identify front and top of zetaliner.  Insert liner top-side first and with 
the front of the liner towards the front of the helmet. 
 
 
 
(h) Ensure the zetaliner is centered in the helmet. 
 
 
 
(i)  Press the zetaliner against the hook fastening strips at the front. 
 
 
 
(j)  Ensure the front and rear edges of the zetaliner are flush with the EAL, and do not 
protrude past the edgeroll 
 
 
 
(k) Press the zetaliner against the center, then attach the strips at the back of the helmet 
location. 
 
b.  Zetaliner Fitting Procedures. 
 
 
 
 
1.  Don the skullcap if normally worn. 
 
2.  Have the crewmember don the helmet.
