2. Install energy-absorbing liner and thermoplastic liner, paragraph 3-5, steps 1-3.
3. Install earcups in retention per paragraph 3-8.
4. Don helmet.
5. Adjust earcups to a comfortable fit.
6. At nape area, adjust hook-and-pile closure to a snug fit. Tighten adjustment buckle strap as required. Adjust rear
hanger tab and trim if required. Figure 3-5 shows how the hanger tab is trimmed.
7. Adjust chinstrap as required.
8. Remove helmet and store as required.
