FIRST ENGINE START (BATTERY START)
1. EXTERIOR LIGHTS switches – As required.
2. Propeller – Clear.
3. Engine – Start.
4. Engine and systems instruments – Check.
5. CONDITION lever – HIGH IDLE. Monitor TGT as
the condition lever is advanced.
6. GEN switch – RESET, then ON.
SECOND ENGINE START (BATTERY
START)
1. First engine generator load 50% or less – GEN
switch OFF.
2. Propeller – Clear.
3. Engine – Start.
4. Engine and systems instruments – Check.
5. BATTERY CHARGE light on – Check.
6. INVERTER switches – ON, check, INVERTER
lights OFF.
7. Second engine generator switch – RESET, then
ON.
8. CONDITION levers – As required.
9. Red anticollision light – Reset.
