*9. Waveguide pressurization system -
Verify that the WAVE GUIDE an-
nunciator light is illuminated when
N1 is above 80%.
* 10. Cabin and cockpit ventilation sys-
tem - Check the following items for
flow of air, binding controls, and
the capability of being shut off by
its own control:
a. Eye-ball cold air vents.
b. Pilot’s and copilot’s air vents.
c. Windshield defroster ducts.
d. Main cabin air ducts.
*11. Air conditioning and heating sys-
rem - Check as follows:
C48-53
a. Cabin air mode selector switch
- MAN COOL or MAN HEAT.
b. Manual temperature control
switch - Hold to INCREASE
position for one minute. Ob-
serve an increase in cabin tem-
perature.
c. Manual temperature
control
switch - Hold to DECREASE
position for one minute. Ob-
serve a decrease in cabin tem-
perature.
d. Cabin air mode selector switch
- AUTO.
e. Cabin
temperature
control
rheostat - Rotate to full INCR
position. Observe an increase
in cabin temperature.
