2. Guard lock
a. Remove lockstem center screw (1) by
assembly (5)
rotating in a clockwise direction.
b. Remove button head (2) by rotating in
a counterclockwise direction.
c. Remove button head washer (3) from
button head (2).
d. Remove lockstem (4) from visor by
rotating 900.
INSPECTION
Inspect for damaged threads.
REPLACEMENT I
Replace defective guard lock assembly
with a serviceable - like item.
