4. UNABLE TO KEEP MICROPHONE IN POSITION.
Inspect boom/swivel assembly for loose screws.
If unable to tighten knurled nut, report condition to Unit ALSE Technician.
5. UNABLE TO HEAR.
Ensure that communications cord is plugged into communications unit and that unit
is working. Ensure helmet connector on left rear side of helmet is secured.
CEP-equipped helmets only: Ensure helmet connector on left rear side of helmet
and CEP connector on right rear side of helmet are secured. Ensure CEP is plugged
into connector on right rear of helmet.
If still unable to communicate, ensure volume control is turned up.
If still unable to hear, report condition to Unit ALSE Technician.
6. UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE.
Inspect microphone connection set screws for looseness.
If screws are loose, report condition to Unit ALSE Technician.
7. UNABLE TO OPERATE ANVIS GOGGLES.
Report condition to Unit ALSE Technician.
8. UNABLE TO POSITION AH-1 SIGHT.
Report condition to Unit ALSE Technician.
9. UNABLE TO ATTACH MAXILLOFACIAL SHIELD.
Report condition to Unit ALSE Technician.
