Figure 10 illustrates the controls, indicators, and connectors on the MU-1114/A Smith Industries Data transfer
Module Receptacle (SDTMR) with a brief description of its function. See TM 11-7025-337-23 for a more
detailed explanation of the characteristics and maintenance of this equipment.
NOTE
The SDTMR is used on CH47, UH60, and OH58D CDS4 and above aircraft only.

Power Toggle Switch
Enables power to the data transfer module receptacle and data cartridge when
the data transfer receptacle door is closed.

SCSI Connector J2
Female SCSI connector providing interface with the PC through the Slim SCSI
1480B PCMCIA Card.

Power Connector J1
Male 3-pin circular connector. Interfaces with the power cable providing DC
power to the SDTMR.

Ground Stud
The ground stud is provided to allow other electronic items to have a common
ground with the SDTMR.

SCSI Connector J1
Female SCSI connector providing alternate interface through a SCSI cable.

Door Latch
Secures the data transfer receptacle door in the closed position.
7
Low Temp Indicator Light
Provides visual warning of low temperature conditions which may hinder data
cartridge performance.
8
Cond Indicator Light
Provides visual warning of condensation present within the SDTMR.
9
PWR Indicator Light
Lights to indicate power is applied to the SDTMR.
