(3) Tuning knobs (VOR control
panel) - Select localizer fre-
quency .
(4) NAV pushbutton selector
switch (EFIS control panel) -
Depress to select LOC 1 or
LOC 2 navigation source
annunciator on respective
EHSI.
(5) Glideslope indicator (EADI
and EHSI) - Read glideslope
indications.
(6) Fly an ILS approach monitor-
ing localizer and glideslope
indications and marker beacon
indicator lights and audio tone
for proper function.
(7) Each localizer and glideslope
receiver shall provide positive
indications with no glideslope
or localizer display oscilla-
tions occurring from the outer
marker to the approach end of
the runway.
(8) Verify that marker beacon can
be received for a distance of
not less than one mile, when
in horizontal flight over the
ground station cone of silence
marker at 10,000 feet above
ground level.
(9) Check marker beacon sensi-
tivity switch function as fol-
lows:
