Flaps - APPROACH Check
flaps for freedom and smooth-
ness of operation and for exces-
sive aircraft roll.

Airspeed - Reduce to 153 KIAS
or below.
d.
Flaps - 100% Check flaps for
freedom and smoothness of op-
eration and for excessive air-
craft roll.
e.
Flap extension and retraction
time - Check as follows.
(1) Airspeed - 153 KIAS.
(2) Flaps - UP
*(3) Flap retraction time -
Check and record. Flaps
should retract from full
down to full up in a maxi-
mum of 9 seconds.
(4) Airspeed - 153 KIAS.
