e. Column 5 and Section III, Tools and Equipment. Column 5 specifies, by code, those common tools and special tools,
test, and support equipment required to perform the designated function.
f. Column 6 and Section IV, Remarks. This column shall contain a letter code in alphabetical order which shall be keyed
to the remarks contained in Section III.
B-4. COLUMN ENTRIES USED IN TOOL AND TEST EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
a. Column 1, Reference Code. This code scheme is recorded in column 5, Section II.
b. Column 2, Maintenance Category. This column shows the lowest level of maintenance authorized to use the tool or
test equipment.
c. Column 3, Nomenclature. This column lists the name or identification of the tool or test equipment.
d. Column 4, National/NATO Stock Number. This column lists the National/ NATO Stock Number of the tool or test
equipment.
e. Column 5, Tool Number. This column lists the manufacturer's code or part number of the tool or test equipment.
