*11. Pilots alternate static air source -
Check as follows:
(a) Maintain level flight and note air-
speed and altitude.
(b) Pilots alternate static air source
switch - ALTERNATE. Verify
that airspeed indicator, altimeter,
and vertical speed indicator read-
ings increase.
(c) Pilots alternate static air source
switch
- NORMAL. Airspeed
indicator, altimeter, and vertical
speed indicator indications
should return to their original
readings.
*12. Propeller synchrophaser - Check cap-
turing ability of the synchrophaser by
establishing a small out of synchroni-
zation condition, then turning the syn-
chrophaser on. Verify that synchroni-
zation is established and held within a
few seconds.
13. Maximum ITT/N, availability - Per-
form as required (Chapter 4).
14. Speed performance at maximum
cruise power - Perform as required
(Chapter 4).
15. Engine performance at maximum con-
tinuous power - Perform as required
(Chapter 4).
