NOTE
Preflight test of composite mode will cause same
results as above test, except digital heading readout
will be replaced with a red FAIL indication, and
expanded localizer scale and pointer will be
removed.
A localizer frequency must be tuned on both NAV
receivers to annunciate ILS comparator monitor.
EFIS test is inhibited during glideslope capture.

Automatic flight control system - Check
as follows:

Altitude alerter - Check as follows:
NOTE
Pause for a few seconds between each step to allow
time for proper indications.

Altitude preselector - Set to
more than 1000 feet above
altitude
set
on
pilots
altimeter. Pilots altimeter
altitude alert annunciator light
should be extinguished.
(2)
Pilots altimeter barometric set
knob - Slowly increase
