Applicable Publications:
The ADAS automatically indexes the film records by

alphanumeric format (AN), binary coded decimal format

(BCD), or alternating AN/BCD format. All indexing is in
block form. The CDM contains a storage battery that is
used to insure an accurate constant block count dung
temporary power fluctuations in the aircraft 28 volt
